She grunted, a hiss of air forcefully pushed past her lips as they crashed hard to the ground. Her small body took the brunt of the fall and was trapped by his weight.
Selene shook her head as he shook her shoulders, this time the tears spilling from her dark eyes. "I watched you die once." She wiggled under him, making an attempt to get away, not fight. "Then again when I betrayed you. I will not do it again." Looking him in the eyes she was serious. There was no doubt. "Just do it already! Kill me!"
