"That just makes it unfair." He replied with a bemused tone. Stroking her shoulders with his fingers, he thought for a moment. "Well, you can't stay here until this gets sorted out. As of right now they think that you're dead. Let's keep it that way." He maneuvered around her to get up. "Hope you haven't got any public appearances coming up." He offered his hand so that she could take his--a gesture of near decency that he hadn't displayed in well over a few decades. Honestly, he did not know what to think of it.
